Community Quilt
Join in on this fun Community Project! Stop in the library Community Room to design a fabric square with iron-on pieces. The finished squares will be sewn into a beautiful quilt. The finished project will be proudly displayed in the library as a symbol of community unity. This program is for children and adults over the age of 5.
This project will involve the use of iron-on fabric and sharp scissors. Patrons will cut out the pieces necessary to design their 7″x7″ square which will be ironed by a volunteer. Patrons over the age of 8 are invited to create one square each. Families with younger children are encouraged to make one square as a family unit. Fabric is limited so think about what design you are interested in!
