Mask Policy

Executive Order 242 has lifted the indoor mask mandate for vaccinated people as of Friday, May 28, 2021; it allows individual businesses or entities to make local decisions about safety precautions.

For Fall Programs held indoors, we will require masks for those over the age of 2.

Masks are not required for general entry, but are recommended for all patrons.

Current CDC guidelines recommend that all individuals — even those fully vaccinated — wear a mask in public indoor settings in areas of substantial or high transmission.

According to CDC data, Camden County is currently an area with HIGH transmission rates.

The Collingswood Public Library staff will continue to wear masks to protect those most at risk.

The library will continue to offer access to curbside pickup and on-demand printing, as well services online and by phone for those who prefer not to enter the building.

This policy will be revised periodically to ensure the health and safety of the staff and patrons, and to remain aligned with any updated state guidelines and mandates as they are released.  Please see our website at for updates.

We are happy to provide disposable masks for patron use.

Thank you for understanding the needs of our community.
