Early Literacy

Building Blocks Storytime
Fridays 10-10:30am at the Scottish Rite
Ages 18-35 months

Join Miss Melissa and Miss Renee for storytime at the Scottish Rite pergola! We will read stories, sing songs and learn American Sign Language (ASL)!  Please bring your own seating. No food allowed at this time. In case of bad weather, the program will be moved to the community room at the library and attendees will be notified the morning of the program.  Register here.

Bouncing Babies Storytime

Art Club

Learn about famous artists, look at some of their work, and create a project inspired by the artist and their techniques.  All supplies are provided. Register here.

Magic Tree House

Come meet other Magic Tree House fans of Jack and Annie’s adventures in this time travel children’s book series by Mary Pope Osborne.  We will discuss the book, learn fun facts, and do activities based on the book theme. Register here.

Lego Junior

Calling all Lego fans! Come to the library and complete fun Lego challenges. Complete the weekly challenge or create your own Lego masterpiece to share with others! Register here.

STEAM Creation Station
Wednesdays & Thursdays Weekly 3:30-5pm in the Youth Services Department
Ages 6-11

Stop in and visit our new STEAM cart during Creation Station hours. Explore materials and supplies in the different STEAM Bins. Create, make, invent, and problem solve using the challenge cards or instructions in the bin.

Mini Mini Golf STEAM
Ages 5 and up

Visit the library in October and pick up your kit to design and engineer a mini mini golf hole. Bring your finished work to the library. We will set up all the finished holes to create a mini mini golf course for everyone to play! A fun way to use STEAM.

Join us and learn the basics of embroidery, cross stitch, and hand sewing. We will have supplies to make the project of the month or you can bring your own project from home to work on. Share projects, ask questions, and make new friends. Register here.

Come hang and game with us! We’ll play Switch games, Magic the Gathering and more. Feel free to bring your own games. No registration needed.
