We are living through a powerful historic time.  Let’s document our experience with a zine!  Our stories, artwork, photos, playlists, etc. will tell the tale of our personal and collective journey.  The first meeting will be a planning and visioning session.  The second meeting will be a celebration of our work.  We’ll keep in touch via Discord throughout the summer. You can submit your work to kiacovetta@collingswoodlib.org or through the Quaranzine Discord channel.

Collingswood Teens for Social Change

Wednesday, August 19, 1pm -3pm via Zoom
Ongoing via Collingswood Teen Discord

Over the last few weeks, we’ve witnessed young people step into leadership roles and activate awareness and change in their communities.  Let’s continue that work here in Collingswood.  You have great ideas!  Your voices need to be heard!   This group will meet to read, discuss, and share literature and ideas that support human rights and equitable access.  We’ll also brainstorm community action plans.  Our first meeting will be a planning and visioning session.   Between meetings, we’ll keep in touch via Discord.  This program will continue through Fall and Winter.

Teen Video Challenge
Do you have a passion for reading or libraries? Do you want to share your video or performative skills with teens across the country?
The Teen Video Challenge is for you!
Five winners will be chosen and will receive: a $200 cash prize and $50 worth of summer reading materials for their library!
The Teen Video Challenge is an annual video contest and is open to all teens. The challenge is for teens to create a public services announcement-type video that shows their unique interpretation of the 2020 CSLP slogan “Imagine Your Story”. Videos are to be no longer than 60 seconds and should promote libraries and reading.
